Universal Signatures in the Mode Fluctuation Distribution of Chaotic Systems

An exaunple other than the hyperbolic billiard, the rnode fluctuation of which shows Gaussiandistribution, is presented. It is the Bunimovich's stadiurn billiard where the mode fluctuationis obtained by eliminating the semiclassical contribtrtion of the botrncing ball modes from thespectral staircase fttnction. The mode fltrctuation withotmt this elimination shows the skewnesswhich considerably agrees with serniclassically evaluated predictions.
