Dielectric results at frequencies between 0.1 and 1O0kHz throughout ternperature range of150 -450 K are given for the natural Egyptian monazite. Three distincit absorption peaks ('y, f3,and a) are observed in order of increasing temperature. Displacernent toward high temperaturesof the three relaxations with increasing frequencies is justified. The Cole-Cole diagrams havebeen used to determine the molecular relaxation time r and the activation energy of the f3-relaxation. The A.C. conductivity is found to be proportional to w"". The high value ofA.C. conductivity compared with the D.C. conductivity indicates the dorninance of the dipolepolarization mechanism.
