• We investigate the Regge and scaling behaviour of the scattering amplitude of massive photons on nucleons within the context of the dynamical Van Hove-type of model. The correct Regge behaviour is obtained but the conventional formulation of the model does not exhibit scaling. The reason for this is pointed out and a cure that restores scaling is given.
