Plasma density increment is calculated when the ion energy is increased trans-versely in a magnetic mirror in stationary scheme. Increase in the transverseenergy of ions decreases number of ions with velocities in the loss cone. Electrondensity is assumed to be equal to ion density. It is found that the relative change ofthe plasma density is proportional to the relative change ccf the transverse ionenergy and the coefficient of the proportionality is given.
