The plasma potential is measured along the boundary of a supersonic plasma flowwith steady speed around an electrically floating or biased metallic obstacle. It isdiscovered that an imbalance of the ion and the electron distribution exists at theboundary in the region having a width of an order of magnitude 10 2. (2.; Debyelength).
