A model is proposed to explain the weak ferromagnetisrn of Nip.. A term inthe free energy, allowed in the presence of the rntixed spin structure of the firstkind and the second kind on the fcc lattice of Ni ions, is fouttd to lead to a cantedweak ferromagnetism. Comparison of theoretical results with the experimentalones is satisfactory.
