A non-linear interaction between phase mode and amplitude mode of a charge-density wave is derived from a microscopic model. This interaction offers a newmechanism for the electrical conductivity of TT}'-TCNQ in the metallic phase.Temperature dependence, magnitude and pressure dependence of the staticconductivity are successfully e>cplained.
