When the ion beam-plasma system is sti?taulated by a puntp field with frequency./(, near the ton Langznuir frequency f, the ion sound wave ( f,) is enhanced and,at the sarne time, a new wave (/.) corresponding to the slow wave of the beamappears, and among their frequencies, the resonant condition, /. =/.j-[/., is sat-isfied. Tlte resonant condition for the wave numbers, /c.=A..jA, is ascertainedby a test wave method. The test wave grows temporally at the freqtmencies coincid-ing with the frequencies of .f. and /.j arrd, at the same time, the wave with thefreq uency of f, - 79j=7; grows also temporally. Their growing is affected by an ionbeamm energy, an initial intensity of the pump field and its frequency. Thesephenomeuta will be discussed with a nonlinear theory of the explosive instabilityfor the coherent three-wave interaction.
