The Josephson plasma resonances in inhomogeneous high-T_c superconductors composed of two regions with different characteristic resonant frequencies are investigated in three typical configurations for applied microwaves. The calculated results are consistent with the resonant behaviors observed in Bi2212 thin films containing inhomogeneity introduced by the partial irradiation of heavy ions. The origin of the crossover-like behavior observed in the magnetic field dependence of the resonant frequencies is discussed on the basis of the numerical results.
