The interplay of alternating potential and dimerization (u) has been examined for the spin density wave (SDW) state in a quasi-one-dimensional system at quarter-filling, which is expressed in terms of θ, a phase of the SDW. By taking account of the dimerization energy u^2/(2g) with and effective coupling constant g, we evaluate critical temperatures, T_C, T_s and T_u, corresponding to the onset of Δ_c(∝ <cosθ>), Δ_s(∝ <sinθ>) and u, respectively. Two kinds of noticeable critical temperatures of the SDW states are obtained where T_c>T_s=T_u for g<g_c and T_u>T_c=T_s for g>g_c. The quantity g_c is increased by both the alternating potential and the interchain coupling. The relavance to the SDW state in (EDT-TTF)_2AuBr_2 salt is discussed.
