An ion drift velocity at a sheath edge v? in a Tootrnded plasma with a finite ion teutaperatureis studied trsing a one-dirnensional electrostatic particle simulation code. This code incltrdesspatially uniform particle generation and electron heating ;tnd determines v? at the sheath edge, defined by (nj - m.)/nj :: 0.1 with an ion dernsity n? and an electron density n.. In coraapar-ison with the Jon acotrstic velocitv from the fltrid ectu?xtions, 'Zip : ('7'e""" 8 nil"K')/m? isobtained, where T.""" is an electron ternperaxtttre a.t the plasrna center, T5"" is an ion temper-atture at the sheath edge, ffij is an ion naass, and 'y : (3.5-fl""/'j"""')/(l-f'j""/'7'."""), Itis also found that a sheath potential change little btrt an ion acceleration potential in a presheathdecreases with the increasing T?""/T."""
