A ntrnaerical method of' extraction of the ?txis of ttnbtrlar vortices in turbulent flows, which w?rspreviously proposed toy Nliura and Kida [J. Phys. Soc. Jpn, 66 (1997)], is itnproved by inaposinga swirl condition. This condition gtuarantees the extraction of low-pressure vortices xvith swirlingnaotion as well as the dertaarrc?ttion of the core re"ions around the central axis. The naean radiusof vortex cores is f'otrnd to be five to six titaaes the Koltaaogorov length in turbtrlence of micro-scaleReynolds ntrnaber of 46.
