XVe sttrdied the electronic structtrre and the electron transport in vertically cotrpled dottblequanttrrn dots as a function of the nunaber of' electrons and strength of the naagnetic field appliedin the direction perpendicttlar to the electric cturrent. In weakly cotzpJed double quantum dots,the electron correlation leads to tlae spin blockade in the Covrloraab oscillations of the condtrctance,To date, however, it has been difficttlt to observe the spin blockade clearly since the teunperatureis uaot strfficiently low. XN7e propose an experirnental rnethod to confirutu the electron correlationeffects even in the present tertaperature regittae.
