The shock pulse emanating from a sonoltzrninescing gas bubble was calctnlated by using theanalytical solutions of the conservation equations for the gas inside the bubble and the Kirkwood-Bethe hypothesis for the outgoing wave. The rise tinae and the magnitude of the pulse signalare in good agreernent with the observed valtres, which may provide the approximate value ofthe gas pressure at near the collapse of the sonoluminescing gas bubble.
