The cotnpJed pl'xonon-lattice gas ruaodel is vxsed to calcvxlate the ['reqtnency dependent hoppingrate of' utaobile tons 111 strperionic condtrctors. It is fourad that the hojcping rate is cornposed ofseveral Gatussiauas incltnding botla contr'ibtttions of the ion-phonon and tera-ion interactions. Thecalculated laopping rate is cornjcared with tlae faxr inf'ra-red condtrctivity ['or silver halides, Agl,AgCl and AgBr.
