'Drornions' are exact, localized solutions of higher dimensional evolution equations decayingexponentialJy in all directions. They travel along tracks provided by the solitons of the auxiliaryfields. When the solitons exhibit resonance the status of the dromions will be in doubt. Thisphenomenon is investigated by two well known model evolution equations. Possible resultsinclude a drastic attenuation in aznplitude and a mode transformation.
