The mean larninar length of intermittency generated by the dynamical equation Infl : (l -fs).r.. f x: obeys the scaling law (.ZV ) CK e ', where 'y is related to the reinjection probabilitythrough a reinjection mappirug function (1 - x )- and is approximated by 'y = l - 1 / mHz - 1 ).This result is ascertained by numerical simulations, and for m : l it is in agreement with theresult for the random uniform reinjection probability in type-III intermittency. It is also used notonly to classify the intermittent chaos but also to determine the scaling law for the mean laminarlength from the analyses of the return map which is experimentally or theoretically provided,
