Quantum transport is studied for weakly-opened integrable circle (C) and fullychaotic stadium (.5 ) billiards with a pair of conducting leads. Electric conductance vsFermi wavenumber for each incident mode, wlaen smoothed, exhibits short-periodand small-amplitude oscillations around some plateau value for C billiard, w'hereaslong-period and large-amplitude smooth oscillations for S billiard. Tl?e wavenum bercorrelation for the conductance is mruch stronger in S than C billiarcls. These con-trasts can be understood in terms of regular and chaotic orbits in the underlyingclassical dynamics.[quantum transport, billiard, chaos, boundary-value problem, Ericson fluctua- lI tionl
