• A few comments are added on the ferroelectric substances discussed by Scoff (thepreceding paper) with respect to the use of the Rhc>des-Wohlfarth ratios, the ratio ofthe paraelectric moment to the saturated moment, in discussing the phase transitionmechanisms of them. A remark is made also on the validity of using the magnitude ofthe transition entropy to discuss these mechanisms in ferroelectrics. The latest plot ofthese ratios is presented including newly some of the substances listed by Scoff.
