The effect of Hall current on the unsteady laminar free convection flow of a viscousincompressible and electrically conducting fluid near an infinite vertical porous flatplate subjected to a suction/injection velocity inversely proportional to the square-root of time is investigated in the presence of a constant magnetic field. The resultsare discussed with the effects of the magnetic number Ml, the Hall parameter m, andthe suction/injection parameter a for Pr (the Prandtl number)=0.71 and 7.0, whichrepresent air and water.
