Monte Cargo calculations on nuclear spalfation reactions with high energyr>rotons were t>erformed bv usins a model for intranuclear cascade reactionsin the energy range up to 1000 GeV and a nuclear model for the evaporationprocess. The scale factor of the characteristic particle production distance c5 andthe nuclear density reduction factor D were used in the cascade model in orderto simulate the energy dependence of particle production from heavy targetnuclei and mass-yield distributions for spallation products in the incident protonenergy range above several GeV. The general characteristics of calculated mass-yield curves were determined primarily by the two parameters 7>and D and theyare in reasonable agreement with experimental data.
