The cyclotron waves of higher order (lNlZ2) are observed in a spiral electronbeam-plasma system, in addition to the space charge (77=0) and the fundamentalcyclotron (lNl=I) waves. In the frequency range of co<nco., the observed wavesare identified to the backward cyclotron waves, lay using Fourier and inverseFourier transformation methods.
