The complex dielectric constant of {N(CH.).}. ZnCl. crystal has been measuredin the incommensurate phase in the frequency range from 30 kHz to 10 MHz. Ithas been found that the dielectric dispersion occurring along the ferroelectricn-axis is of the Debye-type with a single relaxation time in the incommensuratetemperature range except the close vicinity of the "phase transition point T.. In the incommensurate phase, the relaxation time in-creases nearly in inverse proportion to (T - I.) and reaches to the value of about1.2 x 10-' sec at just above T..
