Differential thermal analyses (DTA) by heating and cooling are carried out forFe and Ni specimens. Though each specimen has a sharp 2-type peak at themagnetic transition point T. on the heating DTA curve, a 2-type peak with arounded top is found by us for each specimen at the temperature a little belowT. on cooling. It can be interpreted that the nucleation and growth of the magneticdomain in a non-ferromagnetic matrix starts from T. on cooling. This phenomenonis found for pure metals such as Fe or Ni. Therefore, it can not be considered tobe due to the compositional inhomogeneity.
