Hall effect in Prln. has been measured from 4.2 to 300 K. The extraordinaryHall resistivity which is obtained by subtracting the effect in Y[n3 from that inPrIn3 is almost temperature independent at low temperattu"es and changes signfrom negative to positive at about 20 K and reaches a maximum at about 30 K.This behavior is compared with the calculated curves which are based on theskew-scattering and side-jump mechanisms of cortduction electrons by Pr ionsunder the influence of crystalline electric field (CEF). It is shown that thesemechanisms can reproduce the temperature dependence of the experimentalresult fairly well with the CFE parameters which are a little different from thereported values deduced from the susceptibility measurement.
