Fine Structure in Luminescence Spectra of NaNO_2.III.Vibronic Lines Perturbed by NO^-_3 Impurity

It has been found that the peculiar lines A, B, C, D and E which appear in thespectrum of the singlet luminescence in NaNO. crystal are strongly enhancedwhen the crystal is doped with NO.- impurity. A number of sharp lines on thetail of the zero-phonon line of the singlet absorption in the crystal are also en-hanced by N0q impurity. From the excitation spectra for the luminescencelines, it is shown that both luminescence and absorption lines have common ori-uins. Thev are interr>reted as the lines due to the transition 'AIS'BI in N0mtons which are perturbed by the presence of N0j impurity in the crystal.
