The variation of the column calibration factor F. due to temperature changehas been used to estimate the temperature dependence of thermal diffusion factorsa. of isotopic gas mixtures with their natural isotopic abundances: "Ne -"Ne,"Ar-"Ar, "Kr-"Kr and "'Xe-"'Xe. Unlike method based on the columntheory using molecular models of binary interactions, the values of ot. thusobtained agree with theoretical ones, implicating that the column calibrationfactor is an important parameter in column measurements to calculate t:x7.
