The investigation on the discretization of soliton equations is continued.Discrete and continuous time evolutions are introduced for the single-componentKadomtsev-Petviashvili hierarchy. Bilinear identities, which are equivalent to ahierarchy of linear or bilinear equations, are given. Several explicit examples areworked out.
