Pre-equilibrium deexcitation process for the "'Dy(a, xny) reacti?:>n at E.90 MeV was studied by means of 7-7 and neutron-y coincidence method. Propertiesof the preequilibrium phase were deduced as a function of the neutron multiplicityx. The reaction process was analyzed in terms of the two-phase cleexcitationprocess, the pre-equilibrium phase with the energy parameter (quasi-teemperature)of kT,=5 MeV and the equilibrium phase with the temperature c>f kT.=1.'2.Men. Angular momenta removed by the decaying neutrons at the pre-?cqui1ibriumand equilibrium phases, together with the data of the y-ray multiplicity, accountfor the angular momenta introduced by the projectile.NUCLEAR REACTION "'Dy(a, xny) Er, x=4-S, 7"=90 MeV ; meas-ured E, I, M, o.(E., 0.), M., deduced preequilibrium properties, angularmomentum removal, enriched targets, Ge(Li), Nal, NE 2]3.
