Isentropic compression of high density metallic solid hydrogen (above 10"/cm'),which is necessary to solve the process of inertial confinement in the laser-drivencomrression, is investisated. The r>hase diasram is obtained according toLindemann's criterion. The pressure necessary to realize such high density andthe temperature variation are estimated.
