The self-diffusion coefficient D of silver ions in a-Ag.Te has been measuredby the tracer technique using Ag""" and the rrtobility p of cations is estirnatedfrom the ionic conductivity o. The ratio p/ D is slightly devi?tted from the Einsteinrelation. This deviation is discussed in comparisc>n with a tlteory appropriated tothe average crystals proposecl by Yokota.
