An exact solution for the MHD Couette flow and heat transfer of a conducting]iqt?id in a rotating system has been obtained. It is found that at the moving platethe resultant shear stress increases and the rate of heat transfer decreases w'ithincrease in either magnetic parameter or rotation parameter.
