In one-dimension, effects of mutual interaction on the Kondo model is studied byusing the renormalization group method and found that effective strong interactionsuppresses the Kondo effect. When the backscattering g. between electrons is positive, the Kondo effect is not too much weakened in a wide coupling region of mutual interaction. In the case of g.<0, the Kondo anomaly disappears when the absolutevalue of g. exceeds the strength of the exchange coupling between the localized spinand conduction electrons. Furthermore, the Kondo temperature depending on themutual interaction is obtained.
