In-Beam α- and γ-Ray Spectroscopy for ^<214>Rn

In-beam at- and >'-ravs followinz a "'Pb("C, a2n)"'Rn reaction were meas-ured. A level scheme of "'Rn is r>ror>osed ur>to the (8') state. Two new long-range a-decays in "'Rn were found to de-excite the (6") and (8") states. Ahalf-life of the (8") state was determined to be 7.381.5 ns from which the B(E2: 8+6) values was obtained to be 209863 e'fm'. The reduced<z-width y:was also deduced as 3.2:I:I.0keV for the a-decav from the (8') state in "'Rnto the ground state in ""Po. Systematic trends of the B(E2: 8=6) and y: valuesof the N=I28 isotones, ""Po, "'Rn and "'Ra, are discussed in terms of thesimple shell model configurations., NUCLEAR RBACTION "'Pb("C, a2n)"'Rn, enriched target, E=79MeV; measured at- and 7-rays in coincidence with evaporated ot, E., I., E,T.,.. Levels of "'Rn, deduced T.j.(8"), Q., B(E2), reduced a-width.
