In the two dimensional case, the Poisson-Boltzmann equation is transformed into a special expression which relates the force acting on the polymers to the difference between the mean concentration c and the activity a. Making use of this expression, the additivity rules of activity and of osmosis are derived. It is also demonstrated that this expression has an interesting property respect to the system which contains monovalent and polyvalent ions of the same sign.
