The ^<27>Al(d,α)^<25>Mg Reaction at Low Energies

The ^<97>Al(d,α)^<25>Mg reaction has been studied over the energy range E_d=2.40-2.90 MeV. The relative integrated cross sections agree well with those predicted by the Hauser-Feshbach theory for the states of known spin. Probable spins have been deduced for the 10th, 12th and 13th excited states of the ^<25>Mg nucleus. The spin cut-off parameter value in this reaction has been obtained to be σ^2&ihkab;9.
