The steady flow of a compressible electrically conducting fluid past a slender body of arbitrary cross section placed in a circular wind tunnel, in the presence of an applied aligned magnetic field, is dealt with by the slender body approximation. The wind tunnel interference always appears even if the flow is supersonic, contrasted with the conventional non-conducting flow. For an example, the velocity and the electromagnetic fields in the flow past a body of revolution at a small incidence are calculated. The drag and the lift of the body are evaluated and the effect of wind tunnel causing some changes in their values is studied.
