Cross Sections of the ^<12>C(^3He,p)^<14>N Reaction

Differentical cross sections of the ^<12>C(^3He,p)^<14>N reaction were measured at the incident energy of 25.3 MeV. Angular distributions for individual levels showed patterns of the direct surface reaction. Contributions from overlapping peaks were resolved with a computer code. Strong peaks were found at the excitation energies of 9.0 MeV and near 13.0 MeV. These facts are in agreement with other cases of the proton-neutron transfer to ^<12>C. Comparisons between the reactions of (^3He,p) and of (α,d) are discussed.
