It has been observed in experiments that the pronounced oscillation structure in the magnetoresistance of a square antidot lattice is drastically affected by an anisotropic deformation of the lattice. We perform a numerical simulation on an anisotropic antidot lattice and observe expected behavior in the magnetoresistivities. We discuss how the classical theory of electron motion in an antidot lattice can explain the observed anisotropy effect.
