The decrearse in scintilNation ptrlse height is attribtuted to blocking of the energy trans['er processes of' V? centers andelectrons by the traps and lattice disorders which were pr'oduced by fast neutrons, Tire effect of'this blocking of tlae energy transfer processes is clesrrly observed as 21 difl'erence in decay ctrrvesfir the crystals be['ore and atfter fast netrtron irr?tdiation; a flstt top which ajcpeared bef'ore tlaeirradiation is not present after irradiation.
