Some modifications of previous results of an accuracy estimate for the M^2-expansion solution to a two-dimensional, steady flow past a circular cylinder without circulation are made to result in the existence proof of a solution of Imai's equation for the flow. This is extended to a flow past a cylinder of a more general profile with a circulation around it. Regularity of the solution is also considered.
