Photo-voltaic Effect in Se-photocells having Artificial Intermediate Layers of CdSe, CdTe, ZnSe and ZnTe

Measurements of the photovoltages generated in the Se-photocells which have each an artificial intermediate layer such as CdSe, CdTe, ZnSe and ZnTe have been made. From the results obtained, the double barrier effect on both side contacts of selenide or telluride layer was concluded.
