It can be considered that the "3-kpc arm" expansion is caused by the explosion of the galactic nucleus. Because of a principle of angular momentum conservation, the expansion motion could not be a stationary phenomenon. The explosion must have happened 〜2×10^7 years ago. There are many observational evidences that indicate explosions of the galactic nucleus. One is the presence of the radio halo, and the next is the gas Row from the halo into the galactic disk in the neighbourhood of the sun. A brief discussion is presented to the generative force of the spiral structure in considering the stable configuration of a rotating system.
