On the Mechanism of Stellar Explosion

In order to deal with dynamical phenomena of stars, gasdynamical equations and, especially, the shock relations are examined in relation to the stellar interior. The propagation of shock waves is then discussed, and especially the method developed by us is expounded. As an application, supernova explosion is treated in detail. The origin of planetary nebulae is also considered briefly.
