Numerical Gas Dynamics in the Galactic Scales

Numerical simulations of gas flows in/around galaxies are reviewed. The subjects presented in this paper are supernova-driven shock waves, dynamical behaviors of gaseous halos and interactions between a galactic wind and an intergalactic gas flow. The relations between typical flow patterns and gas parameters are made clear. Some comments on computational methods are added.
