Research on colors preferred for coat and jackets purchased for wearing in spring seasons by younger women, have been carried continuously for the decade covering from 1972 to 1981. The sample size of the women who answered the questionare has been fixed to three hundreds (300) per year, aggregating three thousands (3,000) for the decade. It is clarified that (1) the frequencies, prequencies observed concerning the above purchased colors, of the five (5) years in the decade, show excellent fits to the Polya-Eggenberger distribution, (2) the observed fresumedly containing strongly contagious variables, of the three (3) years in the decade, are not fit to the Polya-Eggenberger distribution, the true but weakly contagious distribution, but turning to show good fits to the distribution, by omitting the variables having the value more than the mean plus three standard deviations in the class of purchased numbers of coats and/or jackets per color, and (3) the observed frequencies of the remaining the two (2) years are also not fit to the Polya一Eggenberger distribution, because they contain relatively many non-contagious frequencies of colors which were selected and purchased in compliance with the specific, independent preference, but not with any contagious motives.
