The studies on the high temperature oxidation resistance of the aluminium sprayed steel were made. The surface of heat reacted specimens of aluminized steel consisted of two layers FeAl_3 and Fe-Al solid solution, and the latter became columnar crystal structure if heated on the temperature between Ac_3 and Ar_4. Weight changing curves of the specimens by heating on 800, 900 and 1000℃ after diffusion treatment at 1000℃ for 15min., were shown on Fig 5, 6 and 7. The relations between the life which means the heating time until the weight decrease to 50%, and the thickness of the aluminium sprayed coating and heating temperature were shown on Fig 8. Fig 9 shows the quenching boxes of steel needles which were used for three monthes. at 900℃.
