The four-dimensional deuteron wave function is obtained based on the method of solving the Bethe-Salpeter equation given in our previous work. It is shown that the three-dimensianal deuteron wave function obtained from our four-dimensional function exactly coincides with the ordinary wave function of the S state. Our approximation turns out to be very good for the wave function of bound states.
