Qualitative properties of molecular resonances in the ^<12>C + ^<12>C system are examined in correlation with the ^<16>O + ^8Be and the ^<20>Ne + αchannels by the use of a microscopic theory on the basis of the coupled channel generator coordinate method. An intermediate ^<12>C + ^<12>C* (0^+, 7.56 MeV) channel is introduced as an important path from the ^<12>C + ^<12>C System involving the formation of a stable ^<16>O nucleus during scattering process. Roles of this channel for the molecular resonances are studied by various kinds of calculations.
