On a New Equation for a Gravitational Field

A new Lagrangian for a gravitational field is proposed which yields fourth order differential equations. Three types of gravitational energy-"tensor" are investigated. The weak field approximation shows that the present theory describes massive spin 2 and spinless fields in addition to the ordinary graviton field.
